Wirral Council is looking for an experienced and energetic person to lead on the operational delivery of quality educational support services to promote positive behaviour in schools. A major aspect of the role is to champion the inclusion and equality of opportunity for all children and particularly those who are vulnerable or have SEND thereby improving their outcomes.
The successful applicant will contribute to the strategic development of alternative provision and lead on the operational functions around the exclusions process, as well as co-ordinating interventions and initiatives proactively around the SEND statutory process.
You will have an excellent knowledge of SEND processes, in particular the exclusions and Managed Moves processes and be able to develop the skills of others in the SEND team.
You will be the Local Authority operational lead in the areas of behaviour and exclusions to ensure learners' needs are met and schools are supported.
