Tarnerland Nursery School is for children aged from 3 months to 5 years, it is funded by the Local Education Authority in partnership with the Council’s Children’s & Family Services and is part of the Tarner Children’s Centre.

We are open 51 weeks per year (closing at Christmas) and offer up to 27 days annual leave plus bank holidays. Training opportunities are available including 3 In-Service training days per year with the whole team

The roles involve working with our under 3’s as a Key Person, you will have an excellent knowledge of the EYFS, and preferably some knowledge of planning and assessing for children of this age.
Some experience of child protection/safeguarding work would be advantageous, as would experience of working with children with additional needs and vulnerable families. You must have a relevant childcare qualification and experience of working with children under five.

Your starting salary will be pro rata if the above position is part-time or term-time only.
