Full Time - 37 hours per week, Permanent Contract.
£25,732 - £27,495 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen to appoint a Customer Services Team Leader. The successful applicant will assist with the day-to-day supervision of the Customer Services Team. You should have a good knowledge of District Council services, particularly of Waste and Recycling, Housing Benefit, Council Tax and Housing to support and assist with complex queries.
Motivating and directing the team is essential as well as providing positive developmental feedback to ensure continual improvement. Candidates should also be capable of delivering excellent customer service on the telephone as well as face to face. There is a requirement to train new Customer Service Officers, as well as provide refresher training to ensure the team’s knowledge base is kept up to date. You should also have an appetite for your own self-development and look to gain an entry-level management qualification. There is also opportunity to support the Customer Services Manager on key corporate projects. The nature of this role is challenging but also rewarding for the right candidate, as no two days are the same.
