We are seeking to recruit a lawyer on a 12 month fixed term contract for maternity cover. The candidate will be committed to the continued success of our well-respected team and to the high standard of service which we provide to our clients. The successful candidate will be rewarded with an interesting and varied caseload, and a friendly and supportive working environment.
The successful candidate will be an admitted Solicitor of England and Wales, with a current practising certificate or eligible to apply for a practising certificate, with post-admission experience, or a Barrister called to the Bar of England and Wales with post-call experience, or a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives with a current practising certificate or eligible to apply for a practising certificate, or a qualified lawyer possessing an equivalent qualification gained in another jurisdiction, with 3 years' post qualification experience.
The successful candidate will manage an interesting and busy caseload within a large local authority, as well as having the opportunity to conduct their own advocacy.
