Our apprenticeships offer you both the benefit of paid employment as well as the opportunity for you to undertake a NVQ Level 3 qualification in Town Planning Technical Support to achieve the best of both worlds. We invest heavily in developing bright, enthusiastic people who want to achieve and are willing to learn.
We are looking for 2 talented individuals to join our team which provides technical and general planning process advice, and guidance to customers, colleagues and external agencies to meet service delivery requirements through policy, procedures and protocols and supporting the application of best practice.
Educated to GCSE’s level you must be an excellent communicator will good IT skills. Training will be provided on how to use our other IT systems and package e.g. Civica, iPlan.
During your placement you undertake on the job training and learn a variety of duties related to the department. You will also gain practical experience on the front line dealing with customer enquiries, data entry and input, general administrative tasks including scanning, filing and indexing, as daily demand requires.
As part of the Hertfordshire Apprentice Alliance (HAA), the Council may share applicant details with other members of the HAA so that you can be contacted about any other suitable vacancies.
