We are seeking creative, qualified and inspirational tutors to teach parents of Early Years children, as part of our Family Learning suite of programmes.
We can offer you £20.44 per hour, plus 14% or 16% for 2 years' Service (inclusive of planning and travelling)
This is a zero hours (bank) contract. The amount of work you are offered will depend on the number and type of courses scheduled but will be mutually agreed in advance between you and your manager. A typical course could run over 5 weeks, two hours per week usually during term time.
An enhanced DBS 'Disclosure and Barring Service' check for regulated activity and the Children's and Adults' Barred List checks will be required for this role.

About the role
Family Learning is an integral part of the Surrey Adult Learning Service (Ofsted Good 2016) which offers a broad range of learning opportunities to meet both local needs and government priorities.
As a tutor within our service you should have experience of teaching and working with adults and children. You would join a supportive team who work closely together to improve life chances of both parents and their children. You will be working in close partnership with schools & children's centres across Surrey, therefore you should be willing and able to travel across Surrey to these schools and centres. These courses are specifically designed to help parents improve their own skills whilst learning how to support their children. Some courses are joint (parent and child) but every course links to the child's development and this role would require making links to the early years curriculum.
