We are looking for a dynamic person to manage and lead the Council’s people and finance teams driving change and improvement across the Council. You will be a natural leader and people manager – leading by example in terms of professional and management practice.
You will lead and support the People Team to deliver the People Strategy and Accountancy to deliver the finance process accurately and on time. At the front of driving change and improvements in service delivery and providing excellent customer services.
You will be an experienced senior manager with a track record of leading and delivering successful change. Excellent people management skills, ability to organise others and strong performance management are essential for this role. We are not looking for an Accountant or HR specialist.
You will be part of the wider leadership team for the Council, working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation, making effective decisions to deliver excellent services.
This post will report directly to the Business Service Director and will be part of the larger Council management team.
