The world and Epping Forest District Council has changed since the role of the section 151 officer was enshrined in the 1972 Local Government Act. Whilst the requirement for the proper administration of the Council’s financial affairs remains unchanged, our offering of how the role is undertaken is a move away the traditional!
As a result of the dramatic change at the Council we are able offer total flexibility in terms of getting the job done! Flexibility in the role, days worked, options for work location , including working from home are all part of the package. Furthermore, there is no management or team management responsibility which brings a new dimension to the role.
