This is an exciting role for someone who is just starting or looking to continue their career in planning. If you’re a graduate in planning or a related environmental subject, such as geography, or have relevant work experience, we’d like to hear from you.
Joining our team, you’ll work on a range of projects and have the opportunity to help implement the Council’s current policies and proposals which seek to improve the quality of life of all people in our area and realise the potential of our communities.
You will also contribute to the creation of our next Local Plan through producing evidence to back up our policies on housing, employment and the environment, as well as being involved in public consultations and workshops. In exchange we’ll give you the experience and confidence to continue your career.
You will be a good communicator and enjoy working as part of a team, have enthusiasm and an interest in the natural and built environment. You should be educated to degree level or equivalent.
The post is based at our Beech Hurst offices in Andover.
If all of this sounds appealing, and if you meet the criteria, then we’d like to hear from you.
