The Technical Support Service is seeking to appoint a highly motivated person to the role of Technical Support Officer. The post requires an individual with experience of working in a site manager/caretaker capacity, who is organised, self-motivated and has the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. You will also be required to be a member of the Critical Incident Support team and respond to property related incidents on school premises 24/7 and assist in the training of school support staff Caretakers, Maintenance officers and Caretaking and cleaning staff.
The successful candidate should have excellent organisational, IT and people skills and will assist in the delivery of the Technical Services SLA which includes a wide range of services detailed in the service level agreement to schools. This will include inspecting, testing, servicing and repairing portable electrical appliances, cleaning of machinery and related components.

The candidates will be required to do a 5 minute presentation on a subject of their choice, an IT assessment, a practical assessment, alongside the formal interview.
