An exiting opportunity has arisen for a part time case manager (18.5 hours per week) to work within the Bracknell Forest Youth Offending Service, focussing on preventing children and young people from offending and entering the Youth Justice System.
You will work with a caseload of young people and their families/carers to provide comprehensive assessments which identify the risk and protective factors in each case. You will design and deliver intervention plans, which are responsive to the complex needs of this group of children and young people, and achieve the outcome of preventing offending.
The role requires a highly motivated person with excellent communication skills and experience in working with children and young people in close partnership with professionals from a range of Agencies. Safeguarding and managing risk of harm are key to this role.
Commitment to teamwork and anti discriminatory practice are essential. Knowledge of legislation in relation to children and young people, is also necessary.
