We’re looking for some special people to join our Planning Policy team.
As the Planning Manager for Planning Policy, you will manage, lead and develop the delivery of the Council’s Planning Policy service to achieve organisational, performance and financial targets. The career graded planning positions provides the opportunity to enhance your existing skill sets and experience across a wide variety of casework and projects. You can expect every day to be different. The career grade covers:
- Scale 4/5/6 (Graduate Planner/ Planning Assistant)
- Scale SO1 –SO2 (Planning Officer)
- POA - POB (Senior Planner)
Whilst ideally the post holder will have experience of working in Planning Policy, applications from recent graduates will also be welcome as this position includes the opportunity for progression up to Planning Officer and Senior Planner for those in the earlier stages of their career
