We have a vacancy within the team for a Senior Auditor, and are seeking a proactive and motivated individual to join us. We use a risk-based methodology to deliver a diverse range of audits encompassing all of the services/activities of the Council, to assist managers in the delivery of the Council’s aims and values.
Candidates should possess strong communication skills and be confident in dealing with managers at all levels. Personal attributes should include the ability to think through issues in a logical manner, have a methodical and organised approach and be able to use your initiative.
Candidates should also have a relevant professional qualification (AAT/CCAB/CIIA) plus a minimum of 2 years Internal Auditing experience, ideally in a Local Government environment. You should possess the ability to be able to plan and manage your own workload and prioritise the workflow so that work is completed within set timeframes and to the required quality standard.
Appointment on the relevant salary scale will be dependent on experience and qualifications.
