ACCREDITED FINANCIAL INVESTIGATOR - PO3 + £5,000 Market Supplement

We’re looking to recruit an Accredited Financial Investigator to support the Council’s Regulatory Services
The successful candidate will sit within our Trading Standards service. Their primary role will be to undertake financial investigations into cases deemed suitable for investigation under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA), particularly in the areas of Trading Standards, Housing and Planning enforcement. Ensuring that all investigations are conducted to the highest standards and displaying excellent verbal and written communication skills, flexibility in working patterns and practices, successful candidates will play a central role in the delivery of licensing objectives. The successful applicant will also be working closely with our Community Safety Team to assist with investigations.
The post holder’s primary role is to undertake financial investigations but we would welcome applications from candidates with wider enforcement experience in Trading Standards or a similar regulatory service.
We are looking for a motivated and dedicated officer with a demonstrable commitment to top quality regulatory services, with relevant qualifications and/or experience.
