An exciting career opportunity has arisen within the Organisational Development Division for an experienced and highly motivated individual to manage the delivery of an effective customer focussed Organisational Development Service.
We are looking for a Senior HR Business Partner to provide strategic and operational HR advice and support on a wide range of employment related matters.
You will contribute to and support implementation of the O.D. Strategy by working with Managers to improve service delivery through effective Organisational Development interventions and Human Resource Management.
You will be responsible for effectively managing the HR Advisors in the management of disciplinaries, appeals, grievances, sickness absence case work and a range of employment and employee relations matters. You will support the development and maintenance of a performance management culture including capability related casework and advising and guiding Managers through the relevant policies.
You will also play a key role in enabling and supporting transformational change projects, and actively engage in workforce planning and development to anticipate and respond to future service requirements.
Educational attainments essential for this position are CIPD or equivalent together with relevant experience of working in a HR service, demonstrable experience of working in a multi-disciplinary organisation and experience of delivering cross-cutting projects.
Experience of working with senior management and trade unions is also essential, along with a sound knowledge of employment legislation and its application.
The position carries an Approved Casual Car User Allowance therefore access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement.
