 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably experienced and qualified individual to join our Active Halton team as an Aquatics Manager. You will be a strong leader and passionate about the development and delivery of a high quality swimming programme.

 Within the Active Halton brand (https://activehalton.co.uk/) there are three Leisure Centres; Kingsway Leisure Centre, Brookvale Recreation Centre and Runcorn Swimming Pool. You will be based within the Leisure Centre Service.

  We are looking for someone with experience of working in Swimming and Aquatics with a specific focus on the development of School Swimming, Learn to Swim Pathways and Training Development, as well as experience of managing a team, managing challenging issues, resource allocation and budget management. Ideally, you will have worked in a leisure centre environment. 

 You need to be customer focussed, organised and a confident and clear communicator with the ability to regularly deliver RLSS (The Royal Life Saving Society) training updates and courses.

 Applicants must hold a Level 2 swim teachers qualification or equivalent & NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification), (there may be flexibility to gain other essential qualifications prior to appointment or during probationary period)
