At St Nicolas we are extremely fortunate to have extensive grounds and excellent facilities and to be situated in Portslade within walking distance of both the sea and the South Downs all of which open up possibilities when planning exciting and rich curriculum experiences for our pupils.

You will already be excellent at building relationships with children and their parents as well as having a deep understanding of the way children learn.

We would also be interested in hearing from ambitious teachers with excellent classroom skills who feel they are ready to apply and train to become Specialist Leaders of Education in order to coach and mentor other teachers and run training as part of the Teaching School Alliance.

We consider our school to be an inclusive place of learning for everyone. We offer a highly supportive and friendly staff team. We have successfully supported Newly Qualified Teachers and aspiring leaders of all levels to develop and improve.
