We (the Children’s Information Systems’ Team) are seeking toappoint a versatile, proactive and competent individual on a full time, fixedterm contract for 6 months. The role entails supporting a range of keyactivities within the service, primarily supporting service desks, finance andprocurement support, project support and general team admin.
CIS provides ICT Services for a number of internal businessareas primarily within Children’s Services Directorate e.g. Early Help,Education; and Schools. This role provides an opportunity to work alongside avariety of services and stakeholders across the council,
We are looking for a good customer service, systems experienceor ability to adapt to systems, high level competency in using ICT systems, orable to learn quickly. Ability to provide support to budget manager on financerelated issues.
Personally you will be able to develop a range of skills, so ifyou are looking to develop your skills in admin, IT or knowledge of systems.You will have the opportunity to be involved in a number of projects across thecouncil. You will be part of the change of improving the way we work, supportto frontline practitioners and a wide range of stakeholders from schools toheads of service and beyond.

Procurement Support: RFQs; raising requisitions, receive goodsand accept invoices for payment.
Service Desk Support: Answer helpdesk calls; carrying some 1stline support: Password resets etc.; and logging helpdesk calls.
ICT Service Support: providing basic technical support to usersand maintenance of asset management systems.
Team Admin: Team support as required, meeting administrationincluding event management and minute taking.
Finance and Budget Management Support: as required by the teambudget managers.
