This is an exciting opportunity to assist the Public Health department with the successful implementation of a European funded innovation. This fixed term contract will provide comprehensive project support and requires an individual with an eye for detail, strong organisational and communication skills.
The department operates agile working. The employment base is Lewes and the post holder will be expected to work at the base as required, there is an option to work remotely across the county subject to agreement.
Maintain the systems and processes used to support and monitor the project, ensuring it is delivered to agreed timescales and within budget.
Support and co-ordinate the development and implementation of allocated project workstreams, ensuring that the projects conform to the design brief
Maintain Project Management procedures, and associated documentation templates.
Identify and report on possible areas of risk to successful implementation of the project and formulate mitigation strategies.
To act as a first contact for the project, forwarding and collating work to and from relevant staff, responding to individual or organisational enquiries by telephone, letter, e-mail or in person and to provide this within the agreed time scales.
To monitor budgets within defined parameters and to monitor project expenditure and income.
To write reports for senior managers and project managers, analysing data from a range of sources and provide management information that supports evidence based decision making.
