The role sits within the Procure to Pay Team in Lewes, who are part of our Business Operations Department in Orbis creating supplier records, purchase orders and inputting goods receipts for the County Council. We operate flexibly within an agile environment to make best use of our office space e.g. the majority of the team use laptops enabling them to work from home 1-day a week and some work a 9-day fortnight.
Your main responsibilities will be to:
- Create supplier records within SAP;
- Create and change purchase orders;
- Input goods receipts;
- Ensure that payments are accurate and on time;
- Deal with queries arising from the payment of invoices.
Our goals/recent achievements within the Procure to Pay Team are:
- Development and implementation of an E-invoicing solution
- Payment of 99.6% of all payments by BACS

Your ability to remain calm under pressure whilst working to tight deadlines within a team environment will be essential.
