£22,233 per annum  for 36 hours per week based at Thames Young Mariners, Riverside Drive, Ham, Near Richmond, Surrey. TW10 7RX.

This role is a 2 year fixed term contract.

About the Role

We are offering the opportunity for an individual to develop and grow at Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development. This exciting role ensures high quality outdoor learning facilitation delivering a wide range of activities and programmes influencing and ensuring high quality programmes are delivered to meet the customers needs.

This role will take on the daily supervision of staff and will influence the quality of delivery and help fulfil the business potential.

You will be playing a key role supporting the senior worker in managing the day to day operations of the centre and supervising a small team of staff and resources.

 Applicants must hold an RYA S.I. Instructor

 In addition to this, the following qualification's would also be advantageous:

  •  British Canoeing Instructor / Coach Awards
  •  RYA Powerboat L2 / Instructor
  •  Forest School / Bushcraft Qualifications
  •  SPA / CWA / ERCA Instructor 
  • Mountain Leader / Lowland Leader
