We are reshaping our HR Service and have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant HR Business Partner to join our team to predominently support Stevenage Direct Services. The successful candidate will provide proactive, professional and appropriate business focused HR advice, guidance and support to line managers to ensure the Council has the right people, in the right place, at the right time to meet the longer term business and people strategy.
To be successful in this role, you will be CIPD qualified to at least level 3 (assoicate membership), with a working knowledge and understanding of HR practices and employment law and their day to day application. Coupled with this you will have the ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders both internally and externally and experience of providing timely and accurate information as required.
