Are you an experienced governance professional, who is self-motivated with excellent communication skills, well organised and has a sound knowledge of local government law and practice?
We are seeking a team player with positive inter-personal skills to join our friendly team in supporting Hertsmere’s decision-making and governance arrangements. You will be focusing on supporting the Executive function, but will be equally comfortable working with Members and senior officers on Scrutiny bodies and providing them with procedural advice.
With a solid background in the decision-making and governance processes of local authorities, or a similar role, you must be able to work to tight deadlines and have a high level of computer literacy.
The post is offered on a full-time, permanent basis (36 hours per week).
