The Borough of Broxbourne is in south east Hertfordshire bordering London and the M25, with a population of about 93,600.
The Council is looking for hardworking team players to care for the local environment by undertaking a wide range of cleansing duties throughout the Borough
Street Cleansing Driver/Operatives (Ref: FLSO/SC)
£17,680 per annum
A flexible person is required to perform a range of duties including the cleansing of residential roads, town centres and parks in the Borough. The successful candidate will be expected to demonstrate a commitment to quality and ensure the Borough is maintained to a high standard.
Applicants must have a full British manual driving licence. Experience of driving mechanical sweepers would be an advantage, but not essential.
Applicants must be prepared to work outside in all weather conditions, enjoy working as part of a team, take pride in their work, be able to demonstrate the best principles of customer care and be prepared to work flexibly, including on bank holidays.
