We have recentlyrestructured our service to increase resilience, better align with the council’sfunctions and meet its changing needs, and are now looking for experienced andhighly motivated professionals to join the team.

Key Responsibilities

You will be one of a small team of lawyers dealing with a variety ofenforcement matters, including some high profile and exciting cases. You will be able to demonstrateexperience of providing support across a range oflocal authority regulatory functions including but not limited to crime andanti-social behaviour, environmental health, trading standards licensing, andenforcement under the Housing Act 2004. You will have recent experience of conducting advocacy and advising atLicensing Committee.

You willbe able to conduct your own caseload with minimum supervision and will beaccustomed to working at pace in a busy team.



Requirements

You mustbe a Qualified Solicitor/Barrister or Fellow of CILEX with significant PQE and hold a practising certificate.
