An exciting and challenging seasonal opportunity has been created to join Wirral's Grounds Maintenance team who maintain Highway verges and rights of way.

 

Starting in March, hours will be worked as follows:

3 weeks @ 36 hrs

26 weeks @ 42 hrs

4 weeks @ 36 hrs

Holiday to be taken at the end of the season

The post holders Key Tasks will include: 

 

Working within a Grounds Maintenance team.

Assisting and implementing a grass cutting schedule.

Working with plans.

Carry out other amenity work when required.

The successful candidate will have the following essential Knowledge & Skills:

 

Experience in use of industrial horticultural machinery

Health & Safety awareness.

Full/Provisional Driving License

Possession of the following Desirable Criteria will be advantageous.

Towing of trailers

PA1 & PA6 spraying qualification

NVQ 2 in Amenity Horticulture
