Website Developer (18 month opportunity)
Aligned with our Customer Services Strategy, we are introducing a comprehensive suite of digital services to our online presence. These will provide essential access channels for local residents, businesses and visitors to transact with us, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, at their convenience and on the devices of their choosing. In turn, these services will help to reduce the burden on our contact centre, allowing operatives to focus their efforts on more complex and personal interactions.

As such, an opportunity has arisen for a website developer to join our System Management section. · Supporting and maintaining our suite of supporting websites as appropriate
· Designing new and improving existing website UI components (maintaining our Design Guide) and implementing those across our websites with appropriate testing
· Maintaining a strong understanding of website development trends and making recommendations for operational and strategic roadmap activities
· Designing and improving the overall user experience, making recommendations, negotiating design criteria and implementing changes as necessary
· Supporting the wider technical team in designing, developing and testing new digital service components
