We have an exciting opportunity for a Careers Hub Enterprise Coordinator - Special Schools and Alternative Provision to join the West of England Combined Authority’s Business and Skills team.
You will primarily be delivering the West of England Careers Enterprise Adviser Network to a number of special schools and main stream schools located in our region. The Enterprise Coordinator role will sit at the heart of a local cluster system to help schools improve their careers and enterprise activities and to engage with the world of work.
You will be responsible for building and maintaining effective relationships with senior leaders in local schools, understand their development needs and support Enterprise Advisers in scoping, identifying and addressing these needs to drive improvements against the eight Gatsby Benchmarks.
The role will require business engagement and recruitment of senior level Enterprise Advisers from local businesses and successful matching to schools within the careers hub.
Developing a number of supported internships as per local agreement with National Grid.
Developing & implementing appropriate employer engagement models for our Special Schools, Area Resource Bases & Alternative Provision settings in line with the outcomes of the Enterprise Adviser Network.
