As a member of the Council’s Facilities team, you will help to deliver effective and customer-focused services to both staff and visitors at the various Council offices throughout the Borough.
You will be involved in a wide range of services, including portering and moving furniture, mail handling and courier service, room bookings and preparation of meeting rooms, identifying and carrying out minor maintenance and housekeeping tasks, routine inspections and safety checks and opening/closing of the buildings. You will also act as a concierge for weddings in the Town Hall Maidenhead and Guildhall.
You will be working within a small team, as well as having regular contact with external contractors. You must be a team player, with a commitment to customer service and willing to work flexible hours.
As the service operates over a 7 day week, Monday to Sunday, the hours of work will vary in accordance with an agreed rota and will comprise daytime, evening and week end shift patters. The normal hours of work will average 148 over a 4 week period. The post is suitable for job share.
