We’ve developed an exciting new Thriving Neighbourhoods model and need you to help make it happen. We are looking to fill a number of vacancies within the Neighbourhoods Team, and this could be your opportunity to transform the way we work with councillors, residents, partners and businesses.
You’ll be helping us build outstanding services for the people, businesses and communities across Rotherham. You will have an understanding about neighbourhood working as well as community development and asset-based approaches. You’ll be working closely with different Council services, other public sector service providers and the Voluntary Community Sector so will need to display an ability to build relationships and forge strong partnerships.
Your role will provide assistance to the Neighbourhoods Team though administration, managing finances and databases and updating social media and newsletters. You will also work closely with a range of community members, neighbourhood partners and councillors so good communication skills – both verbal and written is vital.
Please note that this post is temporary for 1 year to commence from the start date.
