This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a successful Health and Safety Team. A new exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fire Safety Advisor to work for Enfield Council taking responsibility for all fire risks across a wide range of corporate buildings and schools in Enfield, London.
As a Fire Safety Advisor you will be for reviewing current fire safety policies, procedures and risk assessments and implementing a fire safety management strategy. You will audit a range of premises to asses all aspects of the building plans, location, occupancy, plus other related aspects and produce reports on the findings. You will also deliver fire safety training, prepare personal emergency evacuation plans, advice and liaise with other members of the organization and external bodies.
You will have previous experience in Fire Safety role and it is essential that you have experience with fire regulations and are able to read building plans, work out flow rates etc. You will be educated to a proficient standard in fire holding a CFPA Fire Diploma or Similar. It is also preferable that you are registered with a professional fire regulatory body or institute. You will be able to work autonomously as you will be managing your own diary and prioritizing your work load.
