Youth Offending Unit Gangs and Sexual Violence Group Worker
Grade SO1 - Fixed Term/Secondment opportunity Post – 31st March 2019, potential until 31st March 2020.
Enfield YOU are looking to recruit a permanent Gangs and Sexual Violence Group Worker. We are looking for a dedicated and dynamic professional with excellent written and verbal communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established and successful section that provides offending behaviour programmes in groups and on a one-to-one basis.
As a Gangs and Sexual Violence Group Worker you will be responsible for delivering high quality group work programmes as part of YOU interventions to ensure a reduction in offending, anti-social behaviour and lack of engagement and attainment in ETE etc.
High level interpersonal and organisational skills are essential together with the ability to work to policy and procedure.

An external candidate, including Enfield Council agency workers, would be appointed on a fixed term contract, whilst internal candidates who are Council employees, would normally be expected to take up the post on a secondment basis.
In order to be eligible to apply for a secondment, Enfield Council employees must have completed probation and must have discussed/agreed the proposed secondment with their line manager. Fixed term contracts may be considered where secondment is not possible.
