Brighton & Hove City Council is responsible for delivering a wide range of new build and refurbishment, capital schemes for both internal and external clients across the City.
The ‘In-house’ Architecture & Design Team is responsible for designing and contract administering most of these projects, including a major programme of 500 new affordable homes under the ‘New Homes For neighbourhoods’ Programme and an expansion of the City’s secondary schools.
The self-financed team currently consists of eleven Architects and Technicians, being part of the Council’s Property & Design Service and is now looking to expand due to increased workload.
We are seeking to recruit a qualified Architectural Technician who has experience of working on residential and education projects and who is proficient in using 2D and 3D CAD Software including Autodesk Revit
