Job Title: Business Board Representative for Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership
Location: Welwyn Garden City, County Wide
Salary Range: Unpaid role, reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed
Hours: Part time (approximately 2 -3 days per month)
Contract: 3 years with the option of a further 3 years, if the member agrees
Hertfordshire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) works with private and public sector partners to encourage sustainable, business-led economic growth within the county. Through its Strategic Economic Plan, Hertfordshire LEP has secured over £300m Government and EU funding to deliver economic development projects to help the county’s people, places and businesses thrive.
Hertfordshire LEP is now recruiting for a Business Representative for its main Board, which is responsible for setting the vision and strategic priorities for Hertfordshire’s economy and providing insight into the challenges and opportunities facing the county.
This is fantastic opportunity for an experienced business leader to help advance the LEP’s agenda of fostering real and positive change in Hertfordshire for the ultimate benefit of its businesses and residents.
The role is non-remunerated, though reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed, and the successful candidate will be required to make a time commitment. The candidate must either live or work in Hertfordshire.
