We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Building Control Officer to contribute towards the provision of an effective Building Control Service by ensuring compliance with the Building Regulations so as to help secure the health and safety of building users, promote sustainability and energy efficiency, and make access easier for disabled people.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly self-motivated individual who is capable of delivering a high quality technical service to our clients, in a very competitive environment. You will work as part of a small, professional team in a varied and interesting role.
The successful candidate will have an ONC or equivalent in Building Studies, recent and relevant experience of working within construction and demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Building Regulations and be IT literate with the ability to adapt to new technology.
Above all else if you have excellent verbal and written communications skills, along with the ability and confidence to provide advice and guidance to customers and build positive working relationships then we want to hear from you.
A full current driving licence and use of a vehicle is essential.
