The role of the Housing Income Management Team is to maximise income to the Housing Revenue Account and sustain tenancies by preventing and limiting rent arrears and other housing related debts.
As an Income Services Manager you will assist in the management and development of the team and in developing and implementing strategies to promote financial and social inclusion.

Main advert detailYour responsibilities will include:
•Recruiting, managing and developing officers to achieve their potential
•Co-ordinating the work of the team to make sure income is maximised.
•Monitoring performance against targets, ensuring financial inclusion strategies and practices are incorporated into the work of the team.
•Developing, implementing and co-ordinating strategies, policies and procedures to collect income and reduce the level of housing debt.
•Ensuring customers have the knowledge and skills they need to make informed and effective financial choices.
•Providing a holistic service that best meets customer needs and cross organisational objectives.
•Relevant qualification or the ability to clearly demonstrate skills and knowledge equivalent to such a standard.
•In-depth working knowledge of income recovery and enforcement processes pertaining to housing debts.
•Excellent communication skills including the ability to convey complex information effectively and clearly to a wide range of people.
•Ability to manage staff effectively and deal with poor performance.
Fixed Term Contract until 27/10/2019.
