Full time - 37 hours per week, Permanent contract
Up to £33,247 per annum + £2,907 Car Allowance per annum
Starting salary dependent on qualifications and experience

We are now looking to appoint a suitable candidate to the role of Regeneration Officer, to lead on the Council’s regeneration, tourism and cultural development activity and to assist in the development of forward strategy and planning for economic growth and prosperity. Reporting to the Property Investment and Regeneration Manager, you will be driven with vision and enthusiasm to be able to lead a friendly and committed team.
As the Council’s lead on economic regeneration and tourism you will be responsible for overseeing the development and delivery of relevant projects and strategies; providing leadership, advice and guidance to councillors, partnerships and partner agencies. You will also have a good understanding of external funding streams with experience in identifying opportunities, preparing funding bids and delivering projects.
Key requirements for this role include leadership skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build effective working relationships with various outside bodies, the public and politicians.
