The award winning Young Victims’ Service, funded by the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Avon and Somerset, has secured additional funding to support young people affected by Domestic Abuse. As a result, the Service is seeking enthusiastic, professionally qualified to degree level and experienced individuals to join their team.
This exciting development will build on the success of the Young Victims’ Service which was founded in 2015 and provides services across Avon and Somerset. The aim of the Service is to support young people to ‘cope and recover’ from their experience of victimisation.
Successful applicants will be deployed across the Avon and Somerset area so must be able to travel independently.
All these posts are temporary to 31 March 2020 and suitable for secondment by negotiation with current employer. Job share may be considered subject to operational demands. Applicants must have a relevant professional qualification in social/youth/education work.
This post is exempt under the provisions of the Rehabilitations of Offenders Act (Exceptions) Order 1975 and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
