An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Trading Standards team at Thurrock Council. From bustling retail parks to world class container ports the Borough provides a varied and challenging workload for officers.
We are currently recruiting a Senior Trading Standards Officer on a Fixed Term basis for a period of 12 months.
As a Senior Trading Standards Officer you should be a highly motivated individual with experience across the spectrum of Trading Standards work, an excellent communicator with the ability to organise workloads and a strong team player. You will hold the Diploma in Consumer Affairs and Trading Standards or equivalent qualification relating to Trading Standards work.
A full driving license and use of a car is required for both posts.
