An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Community Development team for a Business Support Officer to join our Business Support Team.
As part of our business support team, you will work collaboratively across the community and neighbourhoods unit, providing high quality day to day administration, finance and tasks. You will work with other council teams, service managers, elected members and external groups to ensure business unit support provides excellence in day to day administration, finance and service development.
To be successful in this role you will have been educated to a good standard including GCSE’s C grade or above and evidence of further study related to the role, and have proven experience of working within an administrative function.
You will be able to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team, deal calmly and confidently with emotional situations and have the ability to understand the needs and perceptions of residents.
A full UK driving licence (with access to own vehicle) is desirable.
