An exciting opportunity exists to join our Adult Safeguarding Team as a Safeguarding Adults and DOL Co-ordinator.
The successful applicant will have the opportunity to contribute to the management and delivery of the Safeguarding Team. The role consists of a variety of tasks to ensure the smooth running of the service including responsibility for the management of the Deprivation of Liberty (DOL’s) processes. Full training will be offered.
This is a very diverse and interesting role and you will need to have excellent communication and organisational skills. You will be in contact with many different agencies and stakeholders, so the ability to form strong working relationships is essential. You will also need to be an innovator, able to consider new ways of doing things, whilst supporting the team to fulfil their statutory responsibilities and maximising resources.
