An exciting opportunity has arisen for a permanent full-time Schemes Project Manager, in the Schemes Planning & Delivery Team, based at our Ashford depot.
As a KR10 Schemes Project Manager you will play a key role delivering safety critical and other programmed highways schemes. This role is fundamental in supporting the personal injury casualty reduction aims of the team.
The role of Schemes Project Manager covers a variety of tasks centred around highways alterations and localised improvements. You will need an interest in transportation and ability to apply practical solutions to the KCC highway network. You may have working knowledge of the TSRGD, road safety audits, traffic management and/or experience in CAD highways design (or using similar software).
You will need to be an excellent team player and be able to establish good working relationships with a variety of teams and stakeholders throughout the Highways, Transportation and Waste Directorate, working as one team to deliver great customer service.
