This is a new leadership role for Rutland requiring an individual who can continue the transformation and improvement in our services and provide exemplary strategic leadership and support to our Heads of Service to ensure:
- Every child is safeguarded, cared for and healthy
- Every child is ready for school
- Every child is ready for work and life
For this role, you need to be a qualified and registered Social Worker with a substantial track record at a senior level in Children’s Services, including leading on the commissioning of services and working in strategic partnership with external agencies.
Your leadership style would be described as – empowering, determined and decisive, collaborative and engaging, influencer, enterprising – focussing on results. Importantly we will want you to bring energy, vitality and positive challenge to the team.
