Ready for the challenge?
Share your experience within a transformed social work team, integrated with health colleagues, tackling complex cases, safeguarding adults and supporting junior staff.
Lewisham Borough is a buzz of creativity with a strong sense of community spirit. It is a dynamic and forward thinking Borough with strong Social Care Teams, compromising competent and focused staff. We recruit exceptional staff as we know that they are the key to what we do. We work hard to promote a happy team, who in turn provide the vulnerable adults in our area a fantastic service.
Our Integrated Neighbourhood teams bring different partners from social care, health and the independent sector together in a geographically aligned area. In doing so, we believe we provide a better, less duplicated, more holistic service to vulnerable adults and their carers.
You will be a member of one of these teams, and alongside a small caseload, will supervise a small number of social workers and/or support planners.
Standards of work are important and so you will also contribute to strengthening professional practice, and the development of the neighbourhood model as a whole.
Laurence House, Catford
