The main focus of the role will be to support the Housing Options Team in delivering customer led services to support Medway clients that are homeless or threatened with homelessness.
To provide a front line service to customers by answering calls and enquiries following suitable knowledge and experience gained.
To assist Housing options assistants within their role including performance checks and quality auditing as wells as referrals to other agencies.
To develop a working knowledge of homeless legislation & tenancy law in order assist Officers in the management of Homeless Prevention & Relief cases.
To gain a working knowledge of the Council’s Homeless Department ICT software packages to include, Locata HPA1 & HPA2, iDox, qmatic, and the Microsoft office suite.
To gain a working understanding of data protection including the limitations and exemptions to the sharing of data held by the authority.
To support officers and assist in projects as and when identified.
