Job Title: Contract Compliance Officer

Job Duties:
We are recruiting to the role of Contract Compliance Officer within the Enforcement & Ticketing Team of the Transport, Waste and Environment Unit. 

Responsibilities Include:
*Monitor operational performance of passenger transport contracts against contract specification
*Knowledgeable and proficient in the delivery of the Data and Barring Services (DBS) process
*Develop connections with partner organisations in schools, transport providers and the police
*Visit schools to carry out compliance checks on mainstream education contracts
*Process education tickets, Savercards/Oyster/Traincards on buses, school coaches, trains, London Underground & Taxis

About the Team:
The future post holder will be as part of a team responsible for monitoring and improving contract compliance of bus, coach and taxi contracts predominantly in the West of the County. They will also monitor ticket use as required for Home to School transport and produce Education Tickets, SaverCard Tickets and Rail Tickets. You will have experience in passenger transport or enforcement related field and understand the legal obligations of bus & coach operators.

This post requires working from County Hall in Hertford for the ticketing part of the role and countywide (predominantly in the West) for the Contract Enforcement part of the role.

About You:
*Good understanding of legal obligations of bus & coach operators
*Demonstrable skills in dealing with the private sector bus & taxi operators
*Excellent communication and IT skills
*Work on own initiative and in a team
*Hold a full valid UK driving licence or ability to commute throughout the County including sitting/standing for long periods
