We are seeking to appoint a part time Deputyship Officer within Client Financial Services.
The post will involve:
- Managing the day to day finances of the Deputyship Team clients, including the management of the client’s bank accounts.
- Ensuring that clients receive their full entitlement to all benefits.
- Maintaining accurate and up to date files regarding case action taken on client’s behalf.
- To set up appropriate budgets, including income and expenditure sheets with the co-operation of the key worker and client. To ensure that suitable accounts are operated and savings levels are monitored.
You should have several years experience of working in a finance setting, an up to date knowledge of all benefit legislation, excellent numeracy and IT skills and the ability to learn quickly. We will provide you with training and support to undertake the role. You may be required to visit service users in their own home and therefore you will need the use of a car.
This role has been identified as public facing in accordance with Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2017; the requirement to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in English applies.
