About the Role
This post takes on a senior role within the Surrey Outdoor Learning and Development (SOLD) team who has a remit to develop quality outdoor learning opportunities in a range of specialist settings in line with the service Curriculum Document. These are primarily Henley Fort Outdoor Centre, Angel Blue Canal Boat and SOLD's outreach team. The post holder will oversee the operations of these areas ensuring customers and staff are well managed, and ensuring that the service provided is of high quality and exceeds customers expectations.
The applicant will need to hold a minimum of 2 outdoor National Governing Body qualifications at a senior level and committed to gaining further qualifications. The applicant should be solution focussed, dynamic, have excellent organisational skills, be self motivated and have a flexible and creative attitude.
Applicants should have substantial experience of face to face delivery in an outdoor setting, experience of project management, managerial supervision and experience of maintaining high NGB standards and health and safety.

To complement the activities, Henley Fort offers residential stays in a smart yurt village.
