The Housing Officer post will cover a wide variety of work but primarily processing disabled adaptations and landlord tenant grants.  The role will involve co-ordinating the work and monitoring the budget for the schemes.  The post will be both office based and require home visits.

The role will suit someone with excellent communication skills as liaising with all parties is a key aspect of the post.  Addressing empty properties is another aspect of the role. The post also provides cover for the housing service which covers a wide variety of responsibilities and therefore it is essential you have a general knowledge and experience of all aspects of the housing service.
