Family Group Conference Coordinator

Are you passionate about improving the lives of children and families? Are you a skilled professional who puts children at the heart of your practice? If so, this could be the opportunity for you.
We are creating a team of creative, flexible facilitators with great listening skills to plan, organise, coordinate and facilitate Family Group Conferences.
You will work with children, young people, their families and our professional partners receiving referrals, meeting them to identify the reasons for the request and clarifying concerns and expectations. Your skills in listening, conveying the conversation will enable agreement of respective roles and responsibilities within the Family Group Conference.
With demonstrable expertise and experience working with children and families, you will have a strengths based and solution focused approach with completion of the accredited training in the delivery of Family Group Conferences or working towards achieving this. In addition have a qualification in social work, health, teaching, youth & community.
Most of all you will be able to exercise a high degree of independence, initiative and expertise in order to coordinate meetings which bring together families and professional partners.
